Competitor Information

Please find attached our Competitor’s Pack for the 2025 Darling Downs Heavy Horse Festival. Once again, we have tried to organize this large bundle of documents so they can be easily followed and accessed. Please feel free to pass this email on to anyone you think might be interested.

Entries close on Sunday, 2nd February which is 6 weeks prior to the Festival. Entries are to be emailed or posted to be received by the secretary by this date. 

Payment must accompany your entries for them to be accepted. Late entries will not be accepted.

There have been several changes to the schedule and a change to the Junior competitor insurance fees. Please take the time to read the Competitors Letter and the Rules and Conditions of Entet before submitting your entries.

Please scan your completed documents, preferably in pdf format, to submit by email. A photo of a form sitting on a table may not be acceptable as they are often hard to read. If you have any questions about any section or form, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please note that the Horse Health Declaration is to be handed in on arrival at the grounds. Any forms sent with the entry pack cannot be considered valid. We have included a digital version that can be completed online and then printed off.

For those of you who would like to offer a little extra support we have attached a sponsorship pledge form as well. The reality is that without sponsorship, events find it very hard to continue. We greatly appreciate all help we receive.
